saving charts to desktop

Working front desk, I get many requests for chart notes from WC or insurance companies. We need to be able to open a chart and save the entire chart on the desktop. Printing out six weeks of notes separately is a waste of paper and time. We work with a digital fax and we can attach PDFs to a fax.

    In the appeals package, you can select the entire date range to save to your desktop, however, it must include the claims also. They do conveniently stack at the top so you could pretend to print (do print to PDF) the document again and select the page range to only include the documentation. It is a work-around that would be nicely fixed if we could just do the chart notes in one big package without the extra steps of individually saving or having to re-save an appeals package to get what we want.

    Try using the Appeals Package feature in the Print menu.
