Currently there is no way to alert staff when scheduling appointments that the current authorization or plan visit limit has been exceeded. This results in patients frequently being scheduled over what their insurance will cover and then leaving the patient responsible for those visits. It would be helpful if something popped up to alert that the patient will be exceeding the visit limit or authorization. There could be an option to override this and schedule anyways, however it would be beneficial is there was an action that needed to be taken to acknowledge that the person scheduling the appointment is aware that it will exceed their limit. It would also be helpful if in the visit limit section under insurance there was an option to choose whether it is per case or per contract year.
