We desperately need to be able to generate a "non-visit" note. Currently all documentation/charges must be associated with an actual visit. We have many work comp employers who want us to send them "notes" when they no-show and/or cancel for documentation purposes and we cannot do that on the same day based on the current workflow.
Additionally, we have begun using Remote Therapeutic Monitoring and some insurances will only pay if you do not bill for services on the same day as a actual in-person visit (United Health Care). Currently we have to add a patient "visit" on an off day just to bill for these services. It then counts toward the patient's visit/auth count when it should not do so. This workflow is very restricting and also leads to more errors in visit tracking. We need the ability (when necessary) to add Non-Visit Notes (that allow for billing).
