Selectable Authorized Visit Tracking System for Tracking Auth Visits via Secondary and Tertiary Merged

In the absence of a reliable tracking system for authorized visits through secondary and tertiary insurance, there is a significant risk that patients and therapists may inadvertently exceed the authorized visit limits. When these authorized visits are not accurately monitored, any visits exceeding the predetermined limit may become the financial responsibility of the patient. Failure to pay the balance due for these excess visits could result in non-payment to our company, potentially leading to the unfortunate consequence of the patient being sent to collections. It is crucial that we establish an effective tracking mechanism to prevent such complications and ensure a smooth financial process for all parties involved.

Our therapists need to be able to quickly find the number of visits used or remaining in order to continue to progress their patients according to the visit limits. We have to keep detailed paper notes on visits used up by the patients when going through secondary and tertiary insurance. This method requires our front desk to relay that visit situation to the therapist and this can easily get missed from time to time.

How it could potentially work- Allow the Front desk staff to input Authorized Visits however, have a check box to allow the system to track visits via Secondary or Tertiary (System could default to tracking Primary) just allowing an option for them to track visits via a checkbox under Secondary or Tertiary Insurances.
