a way to trigger a prompt/link when a therapist faxes an initial evaluation that quickly allows them to click over to patient's case and add the POC and Progress note at the same time as sending the evaluation

It is standard to manually add a POC to the patient's case when completing a patient's initial evaluation. It would also be standard to add a progress report to the patient's case after a therapist completes and sends a progress note to the doctor. It is often difficult to remember to add these to the case because it is a separate task. It would be awesome if there was a way to trigger a prompt/link when a therapist faxes an initial evaluation that quickly allows them to click over to patient's case and add the POC at the same time as sending the evaluation. The same workflow would be great for progress notes: when clicking on send progress eval a prompt/link pops up to be able to quickly add new progress report in case and then allows you to finish sending the progress note. I think you could even implement same workflow for discharge as well. When sending discharge summary a prompt/link takes you right to patient case in order to change case from active to inactive.

    Hello, and thanks for your feedback! We have an upcoming feature that should be a solution for this idea. We are currently working on Plan of Care Tracker enhancements that will bring added visibility and functionality into the chart so the therapist does not need to leave the chart or circle back to the case after the patient visit has concluded. While this is not the exact solution you outlined, we believe these upcoming enhancements will provide an experience that will address the concerns raised in this idea request.
