I assume Insight Go and Web PT have some knowledge of their competitors' software capabilities. At my previous job, my employer used EPIC. One of the fantastic features EPIC had was something called the "sticky note". It was the electronic equivalent of an actual sticky note that would pop up on a patient's chart every time it was opened. But, what ever was written on the note, was only viewable by the person who wrote it AND it was not part of the pateint's official medical record. This allowed me to write specific details about the patient that would pop up every time I opened the chart. For example, during the initial evaluation, I could write, "Is going away next week for Grandchild's graduation. Having kitchen remodeled. Originally from the Iron Range". Then, the next time I see the patient, I could ask them "By the way, how'd your grandchild's graduation go?" Or, "How the kitchen coming along?". This allows us to make a significant connection to the patient and helps us cultivate that relationship on a deeper, more personal level.
I was told this is also a very simple thing to add to the software.
Would you please add this as soon as possible? Thank you.
